Exit Slip 9.30.10

Today after our presenters discussed chapter 3 (The Skeptic's Argument) we had a discussion afterwards of what they did well on and what needed improvement.  One thing I noticed was that they did an activity much like the ones we always do in class.  I'm hoping I can be more creative when my group presents.  Also Professor Boyer discussed the importance of creating student to student facilitated discussions.  As a teacher I hope I can create questions where they aren't always routed back to me, but where there can be more student to student interaction. Today we also discussed our IWB lesson and I learned a lot more about how to use Smart Notebook when creating lesson plans.  Boyer showed us where we can find graphics to put in our lessons, which is something I always wondered about.  I also enjoyed seeing different websites where you can use their lessons! I think that is amazing and will be such a huge help in the classroom someday.  I think it will be fun creating a lesson for the Smart Board!
